A weekend in Wallonia: discover the heart of Liège

Start your visit around Saint-Lambert Square, a true landmark in the heart of Liège. Underneath the square, the Archéoforum allows you to discover the remains of buildings that have succeeded one another on the site over the centuries.

Outremeuse has a very particular identity. This popular neighborhood, notably associated with the character Tchantchès and the writer Georges Simenon, can be discovered through its streets, cafés, and traditions.

A weekend in Liège inevitably includes a few local specialties. Liège meatballs, served with fries, are one of the city's most iconic dishes.

For a sweet break, it's hard to resist the Liège waffle, recognizable by its dense dough and caramelized sugar pieces. Liège syrup, regional products, and local beers complete the experience.
